How it works
This patented technology gets to the source of the pain which is—impact. By reducing impact pain is greatly reduced, giving sufferers an alternative to custom orthotics, over-the-counter pills, prescription medications and surgery. Like shock-absorbers for the body, the Z-CoiL’s patented conical-coil steel heels are designed to absorb up to 50% of the impact from walking or running, while delivering a 40-50% energy return. This coil-suspension system works in conjunction with a built-in orthotic that cradles and supports the foot, distributing pressure more evenly (to relieve the pain caused by heel spurs or plantar fasciitis), and even improving a person’s posture. Thick cushioning under the forefoot and rocker soles also helps to make walking a pleasure, not a pain. The dramatic reduction in impact and added energy return is noticeable in just a few steps.
