Need a Half Size? Simply Size Up.
Z-CoiL doesn’t make half sizes, but every pair includes a 3mm insert to fine-tune the fit. Just order the next whole size up (e.g., if you wear 8.5, order 9) and use the insert for a snug, perfect fit.
Z-CoiL Footwear generally runs true to size. Please order the size you normally wear. If you wear a half size, we recommend ordering the next size up.

Adjusting for Half Sizes
Follow the instructions below to adjust the half sizes. Z-CoiL does not manufacture half sizes. However, every pair includes a 3mm insert to adjust the fit. If you are between sizes, follow these steps:
1. Remove the Insole: Take out the Z-CoiL insole from the shoe.
2. Insert the 3mm Half-Size Insert: Place the insert inside the shoe where the insole was.
3. Reinsert the Insole: Put the insole back on top of the insert.
This adjustment helps achieve the perfect fit for half sizes.
Spring Strength Guide
Z-CoiL shoes come with four different spring strengths, predetermined by shoe size. While most customers find the factory settings ideal, some may need adjustments based on their weight or walking/running style.
Spring Strength Recommendations:
- Small Spring: Women's sizes 5-7 (up to 150 lbs)
- Medium Spring: Women's sizes 8-11, Men's sizes 8-9 (120-200 lbs)
- Large Spring: Men's sizes 10-13 (160-240 lbs)
- XL Spring: Men's size 14+ (220 lbs+)
Tip: Aim to compress the spring about 75% during normal walking. If you "bottom out" (fully compress the spring), consider a stronger spring. If the shoe feels too stiff, you may prefer a softer coil.
Requesting a Stiffer Coil: If you prefer a softer or stiffer coil, please add a note to your order at checkout. We will gladly exchange the coil to suit your needs better.

All Z-CoiL shoes are designed with a wider toe box to reduce irritation in the toes and ball of the foot.
Width Descriptions:
- D Width (Wide): Available in the Freedom, Legend (all), Olivia, Sofia, Toffler, and styles.
- E Width (Extra Wide): Available in the Outback, Prime, and Sidewinder styles.
Choose the width that provides the most comfort and accommodates your foot shape.

I have been wearing Z-coil products for over a decade. It has been nothing less than life changing. Since I started wearing Z-Coil shoes I no longer feel foot pain (collapsed arches, plantar fasciitis...) or back pain. Long gone are the days of endless podiatrist appointments and cortisone shots. I used to have to take breaks on walks, trips to the beach and amusement parks to rest my feet. Since Z-Coil has become a part of my life I haven't had to take 1 break! They are well made and last a long time. Sure many will say that the price is high. I say to them - what are you paying now for Drs. appts, a back cremes and pills? Truly a great experience
I recently bought my fourth pair of Legend Black Slip Resistant - Covered Coil shoes. I am very satisfied with them. They are the only shoes I wear outside of our home. Years ago I tried to walk in ordinary shoes and quickly got a sore back and decided to only wear my Z-Coils. I tell my friends that walking without my Z-Coils is like driving a vehicle with no springs or shocks.

I would recommend if you have wide feet. Or your feet swell while working. To get a wide shoe. Other wise. Wonderful shoes
The shoes are helping with my plantar fasciitis. The shoes are quite bulky since I don't have small feet so I mainly wear them around the house.they are stable on uneven ground as well.
