- The soft spring enclosure will last 1-2 years under normal dry conditions, however, it will age prematurely when exposed to strong chemicals (used mainly in cleaning agents) or animal urine.
- Embedded mesh fiber - for added strength
Installation:
Step 1. Remove the insole from each shoe.
Step 2. Below the insole is a “trap door.” Lift up the door and unscrew the spring with a Phillips screwdriver. Tighten firmly, but use caution not to strip the screw head.
Step 3. Re-attach the spring in EXACTLY the same orientation as the old spring. Note: only the Z-CoiL springs can be adjusted in 90-degree increments to adjust for pronation. Turning the coil will affect the resistance on the inside/outside of your feet and may cause under or overpronation.

These slip resistant closed coils are the best. They work every will even on wet services. I usually replace them every 2 years.
These coils are GREAT
I wear these coils when working as a patrolling security guard. I also wear them when fighting in heavy armor in the SCA. these coils take up the impact of fighting so I can continue fighting men and women 20 to 50 years younger than me.

I replaced my coil on my Sandals with the coil enclosed skip resistant coil, I love them and they were easy to replace. I have spinal stenosis so the Z-Coil shoes and sandals are a God send.

I ordered a set set of coils, but the right side coil is making squishy noise that could be heard about 5-10 fee away in the office.
