How to cover your Z-CoiL heel
Z-CoiL® Pain Relief Footwear®'s patented technology and innovative design come with a truly unique look. Some people have a hard time getting used to the open coil, and some wearers need it covered for workplace safety. That is why we offer the Enclosed Coil System (ECS).*
How the ECS Works
The ECS is a lightweight cover that completely encloses the coil system between the rubber heel pad and base of the shoe. Putting on the ECS is easy.
- Remove the insole
- Unscrew the heel pad and coil system
- Slip the ECS over the coil
- Screw the heel pad and coil system back into the shoe base
*If your Z-CoiL Pain Relief Footwear have been custom fit to correct over-pronation or supination, be sure to re-attach the heel pad and coil system in the same position as before you installed the ECS.
Enclosed Coil System Specifications
You may feel a slight difference in your Z-CoiL Pain Relief Footwear with the ECS installed. The coil enclosure adds about 20 to 30 pounds of resistance at 50% compression. The same impact reduction is delivered to provide effective pain relief from a number of conditions that cause lower body joint pain.
Enclosed Coil System Options
Because Z-CoiL Pain Relief Footwear boots are primarily used for work where cords and other hazards may get caught in an open coil, the ECS comes standard with all Z-CoiL work shoes. All other Z-CoiL products are sold with the open coil system, but you can get the ECS for any pair of Z-CoiL Pain Relief Footwear.
For online orders: simply add the ECS to your order before checkout. When you select the ECS, your shoes will be shipped with the cover already installed over the coil system.
For in-store purchases: ask your local Z-CoiL distributor if they carry the ECS. If the ECS is available, you may purchase it with your shoes, and your distributor can install the ECS before you leave. If you want to purchase the ECS for previously purchased Z-CoiL Pain Relief Footwear, please contact us, you can simply buy the ECS online and install it yourself. You can enclose the patented Z-CoiL for added safety or customized appearance. Contact us to get your Enclosed Coil System (ECS) today!
